If you need reference samples, we can provide stock glass for free. There will be a sample fee for customization, but the cost will be refunded when a bulk order is placed.
5. What's the lead time to get a sample and bulk order?
It takes 7-10 working days for sample making and 10-15 working days for mass production. The exact time will depend on the actual project complexity and order quantity.
6. Is your packaging safe enough?
Yes, we have a professional team for plywood case packaging and have safely exported glass to over 30 countries without any complaints about the packaging.
7. How can I get a quotation?
a.If your product is still in the design phase:
- ▪ Let us know the application of the glass.
- ▪ Your requirments about the glass.
- ▪ QTY you need for samples and mass order.
b.If your product has already been designed, provide the following details to get an accurate quote:
- ▪ CAD drawing/PDF file with OD, Glass materials, thickness and other treatment.
- ▪ Other specific requirements you think is necessary.
- ▪ Order quantity
Post-production issues
1. Do you provide delivery service?
We can provide multiple shipping ways like sea shipping/air shipping/express.
If you have your shipping agent in China, we also can deliver to your nominated agents.

Technology issues
1. What is the production process?
- a. Glass Cutting ( Diamond Blade/Laser/Water jet/CNC Cutting )
- b. CNC processing (Edging, Stepped, Polishing&Drilling)
- c. Tempering (Physical/Chemical)
- d. Printing (Silkscreen/UV)
- e. Coating (AR/AG/AF/ITO/Optical Coating etc.)
- f. Cleaning& Packaging
2.What is the differences between AR/AF/AG/ITO?
- 1. Anti-Reflective glass(AR) : Reduces reflections and glare from the surface of the glass. Improves visibility by allowing more light to pass through the glass and reducing the amount of light that is reflected.
- 2. Anti-Glare glass(AG) : AG coating process uses chemical etching or spraying to change the roughness of the glass surface. Diffuses light to reduce glare from the glass surface.
- 3. Anti-Fingerprint glass(AF) : Based on the principle of lotus leaves, AF coating process coated the surface of the glass with a layer of Nano-chemical materials to achieve the function of high hydrophobicity, oil-resistance, and anti-fingerprints.
- 4. Indium-Tin Oxide glass(ITO) : Conducts electricity while allowing light to pass through the glass, making it ideal for touchscreens and other electronic displays.
3. Which method can I choose for tempering? Thermal tempered or Chemical strengthened?
- 1. Physical tempering is to heat the glass to a softening point of about 650 ℃ and rapidly cooled using air jets.. This creates compressive stress on the surface and tensile stress inside the glass. When broken, it shatters into small, blunt pieces that reduce the risk of injury. Generally, Thickness of glass above 3mm can be fully tempered, and thickness below 3mm can be semi-tempered.
- 2. Chemical strengthened, Smaller sodium ions in the glass are replaced by larger potassium ions, creating a layer of compressive stress on the surface. Can be up to 8-10 times stronger than untreated glass. Maintains high optical clarity and reduces distortions. Suitable for very thin glass and complex shapes.
In summary:
- Choose Thermal Tempering : For larger, thicker glass where cost and safety are primary concerns.
- Choose Chemical Strengthening: For thin, complex-shaped glass where high strength, optical clarity, and surface quality are essential.
If you are not sure which tempering method is better for your project, please contact Konshen sales to get the customized solution that is most suitable for you.
4.Which glass materail shoule be used?
- • General Purpose (Display Cover/Lighting/Household Applications) : Soda-lime glass.
- • High-Temperature or Chemical Environments (Lab/Medical/Biotechnology) : Borosilicate glass.
- • High-Strength Applications (Smartphone screens/Solar Panel) : Aluminosilicate glass or chemically strengthened glass.
- • Precision Optics or High-Purity Applications (Semiconductor manufacturing) : Fused silica glass.
The above glass material selection recommendations are for reference only. In actual applications and for different product requirements, more customized glass substrates and processes can be utilized. Please contact Konshen Glass, and we will recommend the most suitable glass solution for your product based on your specific requirements.
